It´s been days since I don´t come here and write. Politic passion has abandoned me, or I am overwhelmed with changes. December was a great month at New York City. I visited two friends whom I hadn´t seen for years. Jose Armando AlegrÃa now lives in Peekskill upstate New York and is doing very well for himself. His brother is with him and I spent a few days at his house. I got too sick tough for he practically lives on a snow covered mountain, so I left before I planned to my other friends house, Norma, in New Jersey. I spent New Years Eve with my brother Javier, his wife Perla and little Ian at their friend´s home and we had a real american 2009 farewell event. I wish it hadn´t been that cold, for I couldn´t get myself to go to Central Park for it was freezing out there. I did everything the tourist does. Went to the Statue, Times square, the dakota building, China Town, Little Italy, Soho, walked all through Manhattan and went shopping at Jersey malls and Woothworth at Peekskill, awesome Outlet Compound, you cannot believe! I have to go back definitely during spring.
On my way back I had to stop at Washington Airport, which I loved. Beautiful simple elegant airport, I really liked. Don´t know if Im gonna travel in the next years, for I have a huge project in mind... Till next time! God Bless!
